On June 7th, 2007 Dovlet Nurgeldiyev sang for Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and Cynthia Wilson of WWClassicsonline wrote the following: " Tenors have always had an air of royalty about them : Count Caruso, Earl Domingo, and of course Pavarotti, Prince of Padua. Enter our new royalty, Dovlet Nurgeldiyev, a mere 29 yet already a tenor of warmth, amazing strength and stage presence. Dovlet is a natural born tenor who in both presence and sound easily filled the unflattering palatial acoustic with grace and magnificence. Never overdoing anything he has mature taste at an early age."
