Dovlet Nurgeldiyev's debut as Alfredo in La Traviata was
the highlight of the evening and he thoroughly deserved
the audience's enthusiastic response. This is a young
singer with an exceedingly beautiful voice which he
commands perfectly without losing sight of the composer's
intentions. He not only gave a technically outstanding
vocal performance but also imbued his role with feeling

I was really looking forward to Dovlet Nurgeldiyev
as Lensky and he has sung Kuda, kuda, simply brilliantly!
Dovlet Nurgeldiyev gave a perfect performance of Lensky’s
aria on both evenings and the audience’s unbridled
reaction on both occasions almost brought the house down!
